Ways to Repair a Volkswagen Cabrio Airbag Light 1Switch the ignition of your Cabrio off.2Plug the VAG service and airbag reset tool in to the Cabrio's diagnostic technique, located near the hood release latch auto diagnostic software.
The reset tool is available at most automobile parts stores.3Depress the "Select" Auto tools; button on the tool until the red and yellow LED lights come on.4Switch the ignition on but do not begin the Cabrio.
The tool will not perform if the ignition is off.5Push the "Enter" button on the reset tool and wait 10 seconds for the LED lights to turn on.6Switch the ignition off.7Unplug and take away the VAG service and airbag reset tool from the Cabrio's diagnostic port.
